Art with Intention
With Darlene OWen

In this two hour workshop held monthly we will explore our potential within.
We will start with meditation led by Darlene Owen. Then we will set our group intention as well as individual intentions for our month.  
Each workshop will incorporate different media that will be used in an art creation by each person that they can keep. Darlene will be tapping into the essence of each attendee and will create an individualized essential oil fragrance which participants may take home along with their created piece of Art.
$47.00 per workshop October 10, November 14 and December 12 , January 9,   February 13,  6 - 8pm

 Collage & Stitching

 Ages 15 - Adult

 Collage and Stitching is a complete class for the artist interested in all things textiles and paper - with Wendy  assisting students with the art of collage, paper, cut outs, add-in and textiles (sewing/stitching plus wherever your creativity takes you!) Students should bring textiles, scraps and paper to include in their work. This is a creative way to play and engage your artists senses. RSVP and reserve your space here

Painting 101 with Jeni Tomlinson 
$40/Single Class or $180/5 Week Series 
Saturdays 9 am - 11 am February 22, 29 and March 7, 14, 21  All Levels
Ages 14 - Adult
Join our local art legend and critically acclaimed creator Jeni Tomlinson, in this fall painting series. As a beginner or advanced artist you can expect to learn  painting from the beginning or continue to improve your techniques as she guides you through the painting process with a variety of innovative and simple techniques. Jeni will teach water color, acrylic and oil plus teach how to combine acrylic and oil - fun! Students may come to a single class and bring their portfolio for individual help during class and work toward a greater understanding of color, technique, glazing and more.

Cold Process Soap Making Workshop
January 25/26
10 am - 4pm each day
$196

Work side by side with our resident master soap maker Gabby Cox from Soaps From Scratch and learn the step-by-step intricate instructions of cold process soap. Students will leave with the skills and confidence to start making soap at home, ready to take the first steps toward starting a soap making business or to enjoy a new hobby!
You will learn a variety of soap recipes, yielding  2-3 lbs (8-12 bars). The studio will provide all soap-making equipment, including writing journals and all safety gear (goggles, gloves, masks).  This is professional grade, luxury soap made from high-end, all-natural ingredients with no artificial fragrance or preservatives. 
Natural Melt and Pour Soap Making 101
Sunday, February 9, 2:30 - 4:30 pm $45
We are excited to bring our favorite soap maker to the studio to help us learn the basics of this ancient and useful art - soap making! This is melt and pour, consider our longer workshop for cold process (protective gear is supplied) Gabby is a master and we are excited to create and play with her. Scents are essential oils only. Students leave with 12 bars of soap.

You Can Paint - Robert Garden Art Technique
With Pamela Smith

$35/month, single class each month 6:30 - 8:45 pm
Ages 14 - Adult
Thursdays January 9th is Half Dome on Yosemite, February 6th is Georgia O'Keeffe Flower and March TBA. A truly unique monthly class that teaches the basics and fundamentals of oil painting with tried and true simple methods and techniques including the science of color, brush loading and more. The Robert Garden Art Technique and You Can Paint is a 20 year success story with thousands enjoying the classes around the country. Our teacher, Pamela Smith is a fun and lighthearted educator that encourages and assists students one on one.  Each class students finish a different project - frame worthy.  All supplies are included.
