Just Write is a Creative Writing class for 2nd-6th grades
$85/per month
Come write with us! We will use mentor texts (works from our favorite authors!) to identify what makes a story interesting to read and incorporate those skills into our own writing. We will explore descriptive writing techniques, create both fiction and nonfiction written works, learn ways to combat writer's block, and so much more! We will work as a community to grow as creative writers. We hope you'll join us!
This is a semester long class (September through December) and after first online payment, Jump into Art Studios will bill you. Please provide credit card or check details at first class. Class held upstairs in Maddie Classroom.
Meet Keri Christopher, a charming homeschool educator joining us this September -
"I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and I have 10 years teaching experience in public school. Most of that time was spent teaching fourth grade, and my favorite subjects to teach were reading and writing. I have spent the last two and a half years homeschooling my daughters, Vivienne and Eleanor. I love to read and share books with my family and friends. I believe in the power of our words and am passionate about teaching my students to use their own voice to create their own works of art."
