Join Jeff Gottfried, museum artist, sculptor and friend in his 2 day workshop to create the human head on April 29th and 30th.

9:30am -4:30pm each day with an hour lunch break

Award winning sculptor Jeff Gottfried uses his 25 years of sculpting experience and his skills as a professional educator to share his passion for the 3 dimensional form!

In this 2 day workshop, students will sculpt a 2/3-life human bust using high fire ceramic paper clay. Through demonstrations, lectures, and individual instruction, students will learn basic sculpture techniques: clay manipulation, tools, armature, measuring techniques, and anatomy (proportions & planes, skull, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, neck & shoulders, and hair).

From sculpting techniques to appreciation of form, Jeff will guide students through the basics and unlock the wonderful world of sculpture! At the end of the workshop, students will have an accurate and artistic clay representation of the human head of their own creation!

Studio will not fire work
