Alternative Firing with Randy Brodnax: working both inside and outside the classroom (bring warm clothing and closed toed shoes) with specialty firings with amazing and beautiful results - and Randy has promised to create a barrel fire with downdrafts and sawdust plus his chloride fuming, too. Randy recommends firing your pieces to cone 08 for optimal success. Bisqued pottery is available for purchase, too.

Hand building with Joe Morgan: tall human form sculpture (see image)

Bring tools, but especially calipers. All clay is provided. Bring up to 6 pieces of bisque - fired to cone 08 - for Randy's raku and saggar fire, items available for sale, too. This is a community event where we will learn together, play together and eat lunch together - studio will provide main course and students bring snacks and side dishes to share.
