Artist instructor Lisa Long invites you to her “happy place” in this 6 session workshop series where you will develop unique skills to create limitless AMAZING projects using everyday items such as napkins, recycled materials, cloth, craft paper, old photos, buttons, lace…
This workshop comes with a warning…IT IS ADDICTING!
All “ingredients” are supplied, but students are encouraged to bring old time photos, old newspapers and books, saved greeting cards or ANYTHING they would like to incorporate into beautiful pieces of art! Details will be outlined at the first session!
Class 1
Create a Junk Journal for: Art/Travel/Inspiration/Spiritual/Family/Personal/Poetry
Class 2
Have fun creating your own ephemera artwork for your junk journal and other projects moving forward! Bookmarks, pockets, tags, page markers ~ using playing cards, maps, and return envelopes
Class 3
Decoupage and paint a Multi-Media Project on a wood panel. Step-by-step instruction, take home a beautiful masterpiece!
Class 4
Design your own line of Inspirational Greeting Cards using stamps, paint pens, torn paper, adornments and pockets!
Class 5
Design your own line of Christmas/Holiday Cards with matching envelopes & gift tags
Class 6
Recap/finish projects from sessions 1 – 5 with the option to learn how to deconstruct an old book to turn into a “next level” junk journal.
