Quick Step to Painting Outdoors using oils, acrylic, or gouache
Location : Yard at Jump Into Art Studio
Goal: Learn the Initial Steps to Start Painting Outside, Directly from Life

Review Gear, & Choices, Setting-up with what you have, Use View finder, Shade/No Shade, Learn to Work Quickly, Learn to Juggle/Manage all materials and Gear.
Divide 12X16 surface into 3 parts (Square, Vertical, Horizontal) and begin with 3 different compositions of one site using the View Finder. Do 3 very quick paint sketches.
Choose a Composition, Add Darks & Lights, Simplify

Materials List for Plein Air Bootcamp:
Bring what you have in the way of an Easel, Tripod, Julian, Large Clip Board, Umbrella. Folding Chair/Stool if you prefer to sit. (Instructor will bring a few options to try). Hat or Visor, Appropriate Clothing for the Weather
Preferred Media with 5 Pigments of your preferred Media- White, Yellow, Red, Blue, Black.
Brush Cleaner vessel
3-5 Brushes- Assorted Sizes and Shapes
3 Panel Surfaces: 1 large 12”X16” for morning practice; 2 smaller (9”X12” rectangular, 12”X12” or 10”X10” square).
