Learn beginning sewing and stitching with Miss Sarah! Geared toward students wanting to learn to sew using a machine, various hand stitches and everyone completes 1-2 projects in this 5 week session may be taken as a single program or in a row with different projects each 5 week program.
Class will begin by learning what should be included in everyone's sewing basket; working on the sewing machine with all the steps to continue on their own. Additionally, everyone will learn basic hand stitches including the running, basting, whip, and blind hem stitches.
Students will use their knowledge to create their very own handmade item plus a hand sewn pincushion - fun!
